If you’re visiting us for a drink you can choose from the the public bar or the comfortable lounge area which is found right next to our conservatory restaurant.

Whether you are here for an early morning coffee, afternoon tea or an evening drink with friends our aim is to provide a warm, relaxing place for you to spend time.

The bar is spacious and welcoming and has the capacity to seat up to 40 people. There is a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including Cask ales like Reverend James, Doom Bar, as well as regular guest ales. There is also a selection of some of the finest single malt whiskies, including the famous Penderyn Whisky which is produced right here in Wales!

We didn't stay in the hotel, we were looking for some reasonably priced pub grub whilst staying in the area and we certainly found it here!
The bar was welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. The young lady who looked after us was super friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. The food is not fancy 'gastro' pub style, it's simple food done well. This can be hard to find these days so it was exactly what we were looking for. Delicious food, generous portions and an affordable price. The beer was reasonably priced too.
Great place, highly recommend giving it a go!

Campervan stay on level hardstanding pitch with water and electric at one side of large car park. We were expecting to eat in the pub on arrival Sunday evening as advertised (too late for Sunday Lunch which you need to order). Unfortunately we were unable to do so, as food was not being served. Had seen negative reviews re toilet facilities but found them to be very clean and not in as bad maintenance order as was suggested. Were open overnight if needed, but have own facilities. No disturbance from road noise or otherwise overnight. Would return if in the area again.

Was served by a blond haired young lady, service was excellent polite professional as me and my colleague were having a working lunch. Food came out amazingly quickly and was delicious, highly recommended a visit!

Went for dinner and the waitresses were sour faced and rude, the food took nearly a hour to come out and multiple items for the food were wrong and half the food was cold! Then after making a complaint the waitresses were behind the bar pointing and talking. Disgusting attitude from the staff after pointing out the cold food and wrong items aswell as an attitude from the manager. Wouldn’t bother wasting your money!

Lovely family-run pub. The owner found out it was my daughter's birthday and played Happy Birthday on the piano for her.

We didn’t say at the hotel. But location looks lovely. We came in for Sunday lunch. Absolutely lovely. So much flavour in each product. Yorkshire puds best we’ve had. Meat to die for, Veg was cooked perfect. Generous amounts. We all enjoyed we’ll be back for lunch on our next holiday.

I have just had the most amazing Sunday lunch at the Begelly Arms !
Fabulous welcome, and although they were extremely busy , they managed to get us a table for a party of 5 .
The lunch was truly delicious , everything was piping hot , with plenty of perfectly cooked fresh vegetables .
Delightful and friendly staff , nothing too much trouble.
